About Grimsthorpe
Grimsthorpe Castle Estate in Lincolnshire, which contains extensive parkland, woodland belts, lakes, and farmland. The estate includes internal gravel roads, grassed areas, and access drives used for public events.
Terrain is mostly level to mildly undulating, consistent with the surrounding Lincolnshire countryside. Surfaces range from gravel estate tracks to mown grass and tarmac drives.
Course Description
The course is a mixture of forest trails and grass with a tarmac run into the Finish. In classes after 2.5 miles there is a small ford to cross. There are no bad gradients. Rally Organisers reserve the right to alter the course if considered necessary.
Directions
From The North:
Follow the A1 south, past Grantham to the Colsterworth roundabout. Turn Left on to the A151. After about 8 miles turn right into Grimsthorpe Castle.
From The South:
Follow the A1 north, past Stamford to the Colsterworth roundabout. Turn right on to the A151, then follow the directions as above.
