About Wyre Forest
Wyre Forest on the Worcestershire–Shropshire border is one of the largest ancient woodlands in the region. The area includes a mixture of broadleaf woodland, conifer plantation and wide Forestry England gravel roads.
Terrain is gently rolling with some steeper slopes along river valleys. Surfaces include firm aggregate, natural earth and leaf-covered woodland trails.
Course Description
The undulating course weaves its way through the Hawkbatch part of the forest, using various forest tracks and roads. Parking is in the forest car park, which will be for race participants only. Please respect the marked areas for parking, dog walking, etc. Bin bags will be in the parking areas; please clean up after your dogs and remove all litter.
Some of the tracks to/from the Start/Finish are narrow and we request that competitors have assistance to return to their vehicles and proceed at a slow pace.
