For a long time we had been looking to increase the Seppala influence in our kennel and this girl, our first pup for over five years, did just that.
She was dual registered with the Continental Kennel Club as a Seppala Siberian Sleddog, with a Seppala percentage of 97.5%.
She was an amazing worker in harness especially when leading our 10-dog team. She qualified for Crufts at her first ever champ show, and went on to win multiple placings at Crufts, including a 1st from Fred Palmer, but only sparingly shown.
She was one of the few Siberians in the country who had a strong enough Seppala lineage to qualify to be classified as a Seppala Siberian Sleddog with the Continental Kennel Club. Her working ability clearly increased the average working speed of our main team by around 20%. She ran in lead in our 6-dog or 10-dog team.
Wyakin is the mother to our second litter of pups, our first Seppala litter, born on 6th of December 2008.
