Honey joined us from Dogs Trust at just over a year old. Like our previous rescue, she had already moved homes several times before arriving with us. After a couple of months she began to settle, although this is certainly not a breed for the faint-hearted.

Keeping Honey occupied is essential. She loves trips to the beach and happily charges into the sea. Like our Siberians she has a strong prey drive, so she cannot be off-lead except in secure fields.

After working through some early lead-ragging habits, Honey is now running in harness and enjoying her place in the team.

She remains a challenge, even compared with dogs we have lived with before, but an enjoyable one, and she continues to make good progress.
