The organisers have laid out an interesting ‘flat’ course with plenty of opportunities to test your Gee’s and Haw’s, with trail surfaces varying from hard packed forest track interlinked with predominantly grass trails to areas of sand which may be used for the larger teams. These trails are without doubt some of the most ‘dog friendly’ of the championships and boots should not be required. Distances may be altered at the discretion of the organiser and prevaing weather conditions.Follow the signs along the main tarmac road heading for the public car park. The race site will be well sign posted from there.Due to the layout of the forest, it is sometimes necessary to run the race over part of the access road, which means that the road may be closed during classes. Verify this prior to the race weekend!Forestry gates are sometimes locked after the main car park is opened so it would be advisable to arrive early.Location Postcode : KY16 0DR
