The South of England Agricultural Society (SEAS) is a UK charity dedicated to supporting agricultural education, countryside learning and rural industries. Founded in 1967, the society works across several counties in southern England to promote understanding of farming, horticulture and land-based skills.
The organisation operates from the South of England Showground in Ardingly, West Sussex, a large events venue where it hosts a range of public shows and agricultural events. Its flagship event is the annual South of England Show, a major countryside festival featuring livestock competitions, equestrian events, rural crafts and agricultural displays.
Alongside its shows and events, SEAS provides grants, awards and educational programmes that support young people and professionals involved in agriculture and countryside industries. Through these activities the society aims to raise awareness of rural life while helping develop future skills within farming and land-based sectors.
