Ingliston is home to the Royal Highland Showground on the western edge of Edinburgh. The site consists of large exhibition halls, livestock buildings, permanent event infrastructure, and extensive open fields used for major agricultural and equestrian events. It is directly accessed from the A8, close to Edinburgh Airport and the city bypass, making it one of Scotland’s most accessible large event venues.

Directions
The Royal Highland Centre sits beside Edinburgh Airport and is only a few minutes from both the M8 and M9, with straightforward access from central Edinburgh. The venue is located directly off Glasgow Road (A8), between the Newbridge roundabout and the A8/airport roundabout, one of the main approaches into the city.
To reach the Royal Highland Centre, use the A8/Airport roundabout and turn onto Eastfield Road. From there, follow the signposted route along Fairview Road, which leads directly onto Ingliston Road and into the showground.
