Snopeak Sled Dog Fundraisers

Snopeak Sled Dog Fundraisers is a UK-based initiative dedicated to supporting the welfare and rehoming of sled dogs through engaging, community-focused fundraising events.

Each year, many sled dogs find themselves abandoned, lost, or in need of new homes. Snopeak works to address this by raising funds that are directly distributed to trusted rehoming organisations as restricted grants, ensuring the money goes straight toward the care and wellbeing of the dogs, rather than administrative costs.

The programme is coordinated by Bridget Robertson, alongside Ewan Robertson, who brings over 25 years of experience organising events ranging from sponsored challenges to large-scale dog-focused displays. Deeply embedded in the sled dog community, Ewan has played a significant role in the UK scene, including helping establish the country’s first sled dog charity and qualifying a dog for Crufts in 1980. Today, their combined experience, industry connections, and event infrastructure allow them to deliver well-run, memorable fundraising events.

Snopeak Sled Dog Fundraisers offer a flexible range of event services, including discos, PA systems, live commentary, and sled dog appearances. Their events often feature static displays where the public can meet sled dogs and take photographs, as well as working demonstrations showcasing the dogs running in harness. All activities are planned with the welfare of the dogs as the priority, and displays are subject to suitable weather and venue conditions.

Through a combination of experience, community involvement, and a clear focus on welfare, Snopeak Sled Dog Fundraisers play an active role in supporting sled dogs in need while raising awareness and funds across the UK.
