Canicross Trailrunners
CaniCross Trailrunners is a UK-based community dedicated to promoting dog-powered sports and encouraging people to run, bike and explore the outdoors with their dogs. The organisation focuses on inspiring safe participation and sharing best practice so that both dogs and handlers can enjoy canicross and related activities responsibly.
The group provides educational resources, training advice and guidance for newcomers as well as experienced athletes. Through articles, clinics and beginner training plans, the organisation helps people learn the fundamentals of canicross and other cani-sports, where a dog is connected to the runner by a harness and bungee line to work together as a team.
Alongside educational material, CaniCross Trailrunners also supports a wider community of clubs, events and training groups across the UK. By connecting participants and promoting responsible practice, the organisation helps grow interest in canicross while encouraging people and their dogs to stay active together outdoors.
