AMWA Malards Pike Rally

Sat 26th November '11
- Sun 27th Nov '11

Location Info

Mallards Pike is located on the road between Blakeney and Parkend. It sits within the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire and centres around a lake surrounded by mixed conifer and broadleaf woodland. The site includes Forestry England tracks, lakeside paths, and gravelled multi-use routes.

Terrain is gently rolling, reflecting the broader Forest of Dean plateau. Surfaces are mainly firm forestry aggregate with occasional softer earth sections under tree cover.

Course Description

The majority of the trail will be forest road – a hard rolled dirt surface. However as much grass will be available as possible. Dog boots, which should not be needed, should be available as a means of coping with last minute adverse weather/trail conditions.
