Canicross Ireland
Canicross Ireland is an Irish club dedicated to promoting dog-powered sports such as canicross, bikejoring and scooter racing. Founded in 2015, the group began with a small gathering of enthusiasts and has since grown into a community that encourages people of all fitness levels to take part in running and outdoor activities with their dogs.
The organisation hosts a series of events across Ireland during the racing season, typically running from autumn through spring. These events provide opportunities for both newcomers and experienced competitors to take part in organised races and training while developing the teamwork required for dog-powered sports.
Through competitions, training and community events, Canicross Ireland promotes safe participation and the enjoyment of outdoor sport with dogs. The club has also supported Irish competitors representing the country at European and World Championship level, helping to develop the sport and its community across Ireland.
