Course Description

The course boasts excellent trails which are challenging and exciting for all classes. The forest tracks are wide enough for teams to pass easily in most places. Dogs with sensitive feet might need to be booted, so please come prepared.

Directions

Take the A69 towards Hexham, take the A68 south towards Consett. After 4.9 miles, at the junction marked Slaley, turn right. Straight on until the 3rd set of crossroads, go left, venue at the top of the hill.

Affiliated British Sled Dog Activities

ABSA aimed to achieve high goals in the popularisation and support of sled dog sports. Their objectives included educating citizens, especially children and youth, about the importance of environmental protection.

They also focused on supporting sled dog sports, engaging in activities related to the protection and care of animals, and advocating publicly for changes in harmful practices regarding the treatment of animals.
