About Cropton
Cropton is a village on the edge of Cropton Forest in North Yorkshire, a conifer plantation managed by Forestry England. The forest contains long gravel forestry roads and open rides.
Terrain is gently rolling and wooded. Surfaces are mainly firm aggregate.

Course Description
There are several short, easy climbs for the first half of the course along the forest edge overlooking the Rosedale Valley and then a gradual downhill all the way to the finish line. Ground surface is of a fine chalk powdered crush, but some dogs may need booting.
Directions
From The A1:
Take the A64 from the A1and head towards Malton. At Malton turn left to Pickering on the A169. At the roundabount in Pickering (rally signs start here), turn left onto A170 to Kirby Moorside. Go through the traffic lights. After 2 – 3 miles turn right towards Cropton village. Go through Cropton village. After 1 mile turn right into Cropton Forest at the signs for Speirs Campsite.
