Canicross Midlands is a UK canicross club that organises races, training runs and community events for people who run with their dogs. Founded in 2013, the club was created to promote the sport of canicross and provide opportunities for runners of all abilities across the East and West Midlands.
The club runs a seasonal race series held at various venues across the Midlands, typically between September and April. Events include canicross, bikejor and scooter classes with multiple course lengths designed for beginners through to experienced competitors, alongside children’s and novice categories.
Operated by a volunteer committee, Canicross Midlands emphasises inclusivity and community participation while maintaining a strong focus on dog welfare and safe racing conditions. Through organised races, training runs and club activities, the organisation helps introduce newcomers to dog-powered sports while supporting an active community of runners and their dogs across the region.
