Yateley Heath in Hampshire lies on the edge of heathland, woodland and small plantation areas typical of the Thames Basin. The landscape includes sandy soils, mixed conifer and broadleaf woodland and a network of informal and managed trails.
Terrain is gently undulating with characteristic heathland slopes. Surfaces vary between compacted sand, gravel estate tracks and natural earth paths depending on the immediate section used.
Course Description
An excitingly tricky little course, mainly hard-packed aggregate forest track. It is undulating and challenging on the control aspect.
